Building on the success of the previous game, we set out to create a more immersive and engaging detective experience. I played a key role in shaping the visual and UX design for critical systems, including the player’s inventory and clue-searching mechanics, ensuring a seamless and intuitive gameplay experience.
As the Senior UI/UX Designer, my responsibilities included:
Interactive UI Design: Conducting comprehensive design reviews, iterations, and refinements to deliver a polished and user-friendly experience.
HUD Design: Overseeing the creation and implementation of assets, maintaining consistency and clarity across the in-game interface.
Menu Design: Designing, creating, and implementing all menu assets to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
Iconography:
Designed, created, and implemented all in-game icons.
Developed all achievement icons to highlight player accomplishments.
Produced PC and console iconography and assets, adhering to platform guidelines.
Marketing Assets: Creating high-quality visuals for promotional materials, including logos and icons.
Playtesting & Bug Reporting: Actively participating in playtesting, identifying issues, and reporting bugs to ensure a smooth player experience.
In-World Graphic Design and Environment Art: Designing immersive and visually appealing in-game graphics that enhance the overall atmosphere.
UX Documentation: Developing detailed documentation to communicate UX goals and ensure effective implementation by the development team.
